When I lived in Portland, Oregon I would frequent this wonderful store
called Periodicals Paradise, where they had magazines of all kinds going
back decades and decades all stored neatly by year and type.  It was a
great way to spend a Sunday afternoon digging through old magazines and
other publications.  What a nostalgic conjurer!!  A place like that would
be happy to take old music publications such as Gramophone and Fanfare.
I am sure other cities have similar stores.
