South Berkshire Concerts at Simon's Rock is presenting a concert and
related panel discussion focussing on the music of Charles Ives and Aaron
Copland.  These will take place on Saturday, November 13, 1999 at the
Kellogg Music Center on the campus of Simon's Rock College of Bard in Great
Barrington, Massachusetts.  The panel will include Ives biographer Stuart
Feder and Copland biographer Howard Pollack, and will begin at 1:30 pm.
The concert will feature the Hawthorne String Quartet and flutist Fenwick
Smith, all members of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and will begin at 8:00
pm.  The program will include Ives's Piano Trio and Copland's Duo for Flute
and Piano and Piano Quartet.  For further information and driving
