To quote Karl Haas, Hel-LO, Everyone!

Anyway, just a note to the Digest to apprise people of concerts upcoming
in the New Year. In January, our orchestra is doing it's annual Homage
to Celtic music (this year, we're playing Tam O'Shanter, too). 18
December is our last concert of 2004...a rollicking Christmas Pops.

January showcases Celtic Music, with Arnold's Tam O'Shanter and Shannon's
Irish Rhapsodie.

February highlights Black History Month, with Turok's Joplin Overture,
Coleridge-Taylor's Hiawatha Suite, and the Tuskeegee Airmen Suite by
Brian Belanger.

March rings in Spring with Bruckner 7, Schubert's Music from Rosamunde,
and Mendelssohn's Psalm 114.

Final concert of the year (short year with bad finances! You know how
it goes) is in April, and features Pauline Martin playing the Gershwin
Concerto in F. Additionally, we're also playing Royer's Celebration
Overture, Bernstein's Symphonic Dances from West Side Story, and Alfven's
First Swedish Rhapsody.

The orchestra is the International Symphony Orchestra, based in Sarnia,
Ontario. If any of you live within striking distance, come one come
all! You can contact the symphony office for tickets:

Canada: 519-337-7775
