On Friday the Web Page covered the whole 24 Hours in advance!!  If you wish
to "Break down and cry" visit the page for June 11!!  If You really wish to
"crack up" read the rest:- I have all the impertinence under heaven; so I
phone Brisbane the nearest "9 till 5" Office [in office hours] knowing the
phone call will be transferred @ their expense to Adelaide over 1000 Miles
away, to the "ABC Listener's Enquiries" office; the staff there will do
everything possible to help = photocopy a CD cover; look up "Groves", will
you wait; contact the Presenter in Sydney (Not next door); write to whoever
compiled the programme; photocopy the presenters notes; Anyfink!!  Then the
Presenters are "on-line" = when one Lady "got crook" (with cancer) she had
that many messages of support that she could have covered the sails of the
Opera House in Sydney with 'em & More!!  The Breakfast show presenter's
wife has a new baby - 1/2 the nation sent in "Good Wishes"; the Previous
One got Leave and moved to annuver time slot = 3/4 of the CM Listeners
in the nation "mourned"!!  The Sunday Morning 4 Hour "Listener's Choice"
program means that Evening Church services are doing well!!  You ask for
"whatever you like" = the whole of a 70 Minute CD = that exact CD gets
found; you receive a Postcard to tell you when "in advance" it will be
played; You get a verbal message saying this is for "Bill(Y) in NSW", and
off yer go; If you "Bombard" the ABCFM Radio Programmers with "Mail" = they
get the message - and the music that you suggest starts to get programmed
@ all hours of the day and night!!  I have been "Off crook" this weekend -
But I fell out of Bed in the Nights of Friday, Saturday, & Sunday @ some
atrocious hours knowing that Musically it would be rewarding - tape the
stuff and play it later!!!.  ALSO, two lots of "citizenry" in Brisbane &
Sydney decided they did not wish to listen ONLY to the ABC FM Classical
Radio = so, they built their own radio Station from Zilch, Zero, NuffinK!!
They are the partial owners and in some cases "Share holders" = so what
they wish to hear gets played!!  They did it [or paid somebody else to do
it}!!  They own a Studio, a Tower, a transmitter, & "the whole shebang"!!
If yer contact them, as a shareholder or subscriber it is "Hello Bill(Y),
How are you, What can we do for you, How do you like today's programmes"!!
RADIO IS WHAT THE LISTENERS ASK FOR - NO LISTENERS = NO RADIO STATION!!  It
is just 5 to 6 AM = Haydn's 47th Symphony & the Leclair Sonata No 6 in C
minor (Le Tombeau), Op.5 are "on tape" for playing later and enjoying!!
PLEASE DO NOT "WHINGE" ABOUT THE RADIO STATIONS = OWN THE BLURRY THINGS!!
Isn't the USA the Home of "Free Enterprise" Companies and "Firms" - WHY CAN
A LOT OF US CITIZENS NOT OWN A RADIO STATION = Poor Aussies do so?? Velly
