Apropos whether Mozart or Beethoven was a "better" composer - to me its
like an abstract question 'do you prefer red or green?'

Ask me however which composer's mere name being uttered in *any*
discussion results in by far the greatest number of increasing lengthy
responses than any other, - the answer is beyond doubt.   Wagner!! What
is it about the 'master' that always seems to produce such a response in
otherwise quite taciturn minds?
