commisioned to write a work for a masonic ritual use.Sometimes,could be
possible for "external" ceremonys,to commisioned that work to a non masonic
composer,but under the guidelines of a masonic board.Is a third option:
When a Mason composer, compose a masonic work,because he want to do it,with
no need to be commisioned for it.  i hope this tips,give you a better idea
