Does somebody knows if the birds in Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" like the
"Ninghtingale" are proven by research?

And did Vivaldi call the Concerto in A major "Il Rosignuolo" RV335 and the
Concerto in D major for traverso etc. "Il Gardellino" himself or are those
nicknames from others. "Il Gardellino" is a delightfully piece of music,
don't you think?

When those names are not by Vivaldi, who's invention is it and did somebody
any research on this matter (Dave, any idea?) I would be most grateful!
