Greetings: Can anyone identify this simple little tune and its source? It
is from a larger work. The tune has been running through my brain for many
years.

It just goes from C up through G. I hope this notation is clear. I think
it ought to appear to you on one line.

For the life of me, I can't remember where I first heard the tune or what
was the whole from which it comes. Drat!

Does anyone out there recognize it?

Thanks, Keith A. Dixon [log in to unmask]
