Requests for recommendations of the Mozart Requiem seem to come up every
few months - must be a popular work.  My favorite is Bohm on DG followed
closely by Schreier on Philips.  Alan was interested in great sound and
availability at his local Borders store.  The sound on the Philips is
excellent and better than the earlier Bohm recording.  As for Borders, I
have no idea where Alan lives, and different Borders have varying
inventory.  But, neither of these two recordings is hard to find.
