He was regularly singled out for applause at concerts with the Berlin
Philharmonic - I`m pretty sure I read that he has now left that position to
pursue his career in recital - but www.berlin-philharmonic.com still lists
him as a soloist.  His latest cd (on EMI) of music by Debussy, Ravel and
Prokofiev has received outstanding reviews.
