I don't know if the list has heard this or not, but it gives me great
pleasure to inform everyone that my good friend, Canadian violinist Martin
Beaver, has been appointed first violinist of the Tokyo String Quartet.
It couldn't happen to a better player, or a more deserving guy.

Way to go Martin!
