Let's assume that Beethoven were alive, his hearing magically restored.
and was listening to one of his symphonies played by a modern orchestra.
It would be interesting to see the look on his face, when the first passage
he had written to be repeated, was omitted, in the interest of artistic
interpretation, or whatever flimsy excuse.

It would be more interesting to look in into his brain and read his thought
processes.
