Music of Beth Anderson to be Performed Across the U.S. and in Belgium -
Jade String Trio to Present New Jasmine Swale in New York Performances

Music of American composer Beth Anderson (http://www.beand.com) will be
featured in a series of concerts from November 16 through December at
venues in New York, Colorado and Belgium. These performances include:

November 16th, 2005 - The Jade String Trio
(http://www.jadestringtrio.com) will perform Ms. Anderson's newly
commissioned Jasmine Swale, along with music by Bach, Mozart, Beethoven
and Chinese folk music at the Underground Lounge (955 West End Avenue -
http://www.theundergroundnyc.com/) at 107th Street, in Manhattan at 7:12
PM (!). Reservations are strongly recommended - 212-666-5708. Admission:
$10 plus a 2-item minimum.

November 17th, 2005 - The music faculty of Colorado College
(http://www.coloradocollege.edu/index.asp) in Colorado Springs, along
with mezzo soprano Carrie Steves and pianist Lori Piitz, will perform
Beth's Nightsong and Swimmers on the Shore (both with words by poet
David Mason) at 7:30 PM in the school's Packard Hall at the southwest
corner of Cascade Ave. and Cache La Poudre Street. The concert, An
Evening of Poetry & Music, will also feature music by Joseph Dorfman,
Ofer Ben Amots, and Lori Laitman and poetry by James Joyce, David Mason,
and Peretz Markish, and is hosted by their resident composer, Ofer
Ben-Amots. The concert is free and open to the public. More information

November 18th, 2005 - The Jade String Trio will premiere the newly
commissioned Jasmine Swale at St. Joseph's College
(http://www.sjcny.edu/) Council for the Arts concert series - 8:00 PM at
the school's D'Eccleslle Auditorium, 155 W. Roe Blvd, Patchogue, New

November 20th, 2005 - Soprano Francoise Vanhecke will premiere Ms.
Anderson's  Nightsong (with words by poet David Mason) as well as
performing Lullaby,  Beauty Runs Faster and Kilkenny Cats in Belgium on
a concert of new consonant music at 6.30 pm in the Centre d'art Chapelle
de Boondael, 10 Square du Vieux Tilleul in Brussels. The concert will
also include music by Lysight, Mendes, Bilbao, and the 'I am afraid'
Soprano Aria from 'Chicken Little, the Sky is Falling" by Gladys
Smuckler Moskowitz. For more information about this concert and

December 3, 2005 - Opera Astoria is producing the song Swimmers On The
Shore for baritone and piano at The Flushing Library, 41-17 Main Street
in Queens, New York. The song has words by David Mason and concerns
