I heard the Poemes just the other day and was pleased to find out what else
is on the CD. I thank Steve for drawing it to our attention.  Another rare
Bloch work I like a lot is the Symphony in C# Minor - the Bis version is to
be preferred to the Marco Polo one.  It does sprawl (it runs just under an
hour) but IMHO is a remarkable work for a composer in his early twenties.
This may sound like praising it with faint damns, so perhaps it's fairer
just to say it's good music.
