Thanks for your fascinating post. I am a new fan to "Goyescas,"
orchestrated. I was won over by last month's Central City Opera
performance. Since then, Mike Richter led me to London OSA-1101 -
Spain - Ataulfo Argenta (c), with this cast

    Rosario Consuela Rubio
    Pepa Ana Maria Iriarte
    Fernando Gines Torrano
    Paquiro Manuel Ausensi

  Contents of the three scenes:

  1. Los requiebros (Endearments).
  2. Coloquio en la Reja (Conversation at the window).
  3. El fandango del Candil (The fandango by lamplight).
  4. Quejas o la Maja y el Ruisenor (Complaints, or the Maiden and the
     Nightingale).
  5. El amor y la muerte (Love and death).
  6. La Serenata del espectro (The spectre's Serenade).

Apparently, there was also a seventh escena goyesca for piano entitled
El Pelele (The Straw-man).
