William Jenks:

>Last night on the radio I heard a concerto for two clarinets by Krommer

>Anybody have a favorite recording to recommend?

Naxos 8.553178 has the clarinet concerto and both the concertos for two
clarinets. I'd also recommend Hyperion CDA66411 on which Sarah Francis
plays Krommer's two oboe concertos and the Mozart. Then there's Chandos
CHAN 9275 which contains the London Mozart Players under Mathias Bamert
doing two Krommer symphonies. If his personality is reflected in his
music, he must have been of an uncommonly sunny disposition. I've had
a great deal of pleasure from all of these.
