You know, my first reaction to this question was to remember the warhorses
- Tchaikovsky's R&J and Scheherezade in particular - by which I was
introduced to CM when I was a pre-schooler.  I rarely listen to recordings
of these pieces, but when I have to review one or hear a performance,
it sure feels like coming home.
