I think that you mean conductor, Donald, and if that is the case, you
should look for Colin Davis.  He has recorded most of the major works and
they are superb perfomances.  If you can find it, which I doubt you can as
I have been trying for years to no avail, the Gary Bertini recording of the
Requiem is spectacular!
