The Ibla Foundation Presents 2005 Grand Prize Winners Concert At Carnegie
Hall's Weill Recital Hall On April 11 - International Performers from
Europe, Asia, and the Americas

The Ibla Foundation of New York will present their 2005 Grand Prize
Winners Concert on Monday, April 11 at 8:00 PM at Weill Recital Hall at
Carnegie Hall, 154 W.  57th St.  at 7th Ave.  in Manhattan.  The performers
scheduled to appear are winners of the Ibla Grand Prize awards for 2004.

Prize-Winning performers will include pianists Anna Rutkowska Schock
(Poland), Jani Aarrevaara (Finland), Nathan Carterette (USA), Gennsly
Ediansyah Syams (Indonesia), Atsuko Seta (Japan), Gesa Luecker, (Germany),
Soyeon In (Korea), sopranos Brigitte Jaeger (Germany) and Annick La
Frontiere (French Guyana), violinist Riyoko Matsui (Japan), baritone
Blake Davidson (USA), as well as duo-pianist teams Vincenzo and Francesco
Destefano (Italy) and Helen Sim (USA) and Ning-Wu Du (China).

The Ibla Foundation in New York City organizes an annual music competition
for pianists, singers, instrumentalists and composers which takes place
during the last week of June and the first week of July in Ragusa Ibla,
in the southeastern corner of Sicily.  Winners are presented the following
year in such venues as Carnegie Hall in New York, Tokyo Opera City Hall,
Tchaikovsky Bolshoi Hall in Moscow as well as other prestigious venues
in Canada, Europe, Russia and the USA.

The 2005 Competition will take place from June 28 to July 10 in the
magnificent baroque quarters of Ragusa Ibla.  Visit the Foundation online
