With me it was the lovely second movement of that symphony.  And I was
also enthralled by the Nutcracker Suite (I had one of the first 78 rpm
players made after WWII, and I was allowed to use it all by myself even
at a very tender age) AND the Dvorak New World Symphony.  One of the
records of the Dvorak was broken, so I learned the short version.
