Lebrecht says Ozawa was ousted from the BSO or did he really wish to seek
new horizons in Vienna? This black market in conductorial contracts is a
travesty.  There are numerous good conductors for these orchestras if only
the "turkeys" that manage them will listen to real good candidates who
happen not to fall into the category of "name" conductors.
