For those wishing to stay on top of Hattogate developments, Andrys Basten
has put up a useful web page of links to Hatto news and discussions:
http://www.andrys.com/hatto.html.  Frequent updates.

By far the most interesting in-depth piece on the subject thus far is
provided by English critic Christopher Howell, who reviewed some of the
Hatto discs and had an extensive correspondence with Barrington-Coupe
and later Hatto (or somebody).  He reprints the correspondence, with
extensive commentary.  Also of interest, he proffers a half-dozen scenarios
speculating as to how the hoax might have happened, and why, and who did
what.  Howell has the imagination of a good mystery writer; he should
be doing story treatments for Law and Order.  It's on MusicWeb at:
