Chamber Players International Announces Gala 2006 Long Island Mozart
Festival, Labor Day weekend, September 1,2, 3 and 4 on the grounds of
Chelsea Mansion in East Norwich, New York

Chamber Players International has announced the Gala 2006 Long Island
Mozart Festival - Labor Day weekend, September 1,2, 3 and 4 on the grounds
of Chelsea Mansion, located off Route 25A in East Norwich - Exit 41of
LIE N on Route 106 to Route 25A west.

Spectacular violinist Anna Rabinova of the New York Philharmonic,
internationally renowned pianist Tatiana Goncharova and the superb
Orchestre de Chambre Francais of Paris will come together to present
Mozart's Violin Concertos No.  3 and 4, Piano Concertos No.  13 and 14,
Eine Kleine Nacht Muzik and other of his masterworks, along with music
of Grieg, Elgar and others.

Concerts will be given on Friday, September 1 at 7 PM, Saturday, September
2 at 3 PM, Sunday, September 3 at 3 PM and Sunday, September 4 at 3 PM.
The Festival will also feature live historical characters, carriage
rides, gourmet food by the De Seversky Center, wines from Post Liquors,
artisan crafters, activities for kids (free concert lawn seating for
kids 12 and under) and free parking.

Tickets for reserved arena tent seating for these concerts are $20,
(includes admission to the festival) and $5 lawn seating (also includes

The Long Island Mozart Festival is presented by Chamber Players International
with support from Nassau County Executive Tom Suozzi and Parks Commissioner
Jose Lopez, and sponsored by Long Island Power Authority, Cablevision,
Anton Community Newspapers and Merrill Lynch.

Anna Rabinova, a member of the New York Philharmonic, was the winner of
the Bach International Competition in Leipzig, Germany, and was awarded
first prize at the 16th International Competition in Belgrade.  As winner
of the 1993 Concerto Competition at The Juilliard School, she performed
Shostakovich"s Concerto No.  1 (Stanislav Skrowaczewski conducting).

Tatiana Goncharova was born in Minsk, Belarus, and made her concert
debut in her home city at the age of 10.  After winning several National
Competitions as a child, she went on to compete and win first prize
at several prestigious international competitions, including the Olga
Koussevitzky Piano Competition.  She has studied at the Manhattan School
of Music and Juilliard, and privately with Leon Fleisher.  She has
performed at such venues as Alice Tully Hall, The Mostly Mozart Festival
at Lincoln Center, and at Caramoor.

L'Orchestre de Chambre Francais is based in Senlis, north of Paris, as
the resident orchestra of the 18th Century Theatre Imperial de Compiegne,
France's most famous theater for French music.  The passion, daring and
imagination of the French Chamber Orchestra make it equally at home in

Chamber Players International is a major regional presenting and
performing arts organization, presenting between 25 and 30 concert events
