If you (or anyone for that matter) is looking for a good reading of the
Bruckner 6, please give Eschenbach with the Houston Symphony on Koch
International a try.  This is the home band for me and their Bruckner
(and Mahler) has been illuminating throughout the past few seasons.  The
Bruckner 2 (also on Koch) is another excellent recording.  The B6 has
received good reviews on Classics Today.com (link below) and Fanfare
(March-April 2001; Volume 24, No.  4).
