I don't mean to belittle her work, and I agree, I am not qualified to make
any judgment about it.  Just so I'm not totally ignorant on the subject, I
visited Amazon to see what recordings they have of Oliveros.  I must admit,
I'm kind of interested.  Does anyone have any recommendations?

In any event, I plan on being around for another generation or two (I
drink beer every night), so I'll get to see if Oliveros is as well known
as Stravinsky and Britten are now.  I'll bet that she won't.  Any takers?
