Having heard both it seems to me more a question of Horenstein managing to
communicate what he wants to the Bournemouth players better than he does to
the Stockholm players and the Bournemouth playing sounds more accurate too.
The Bournemouth performance has a degree more intensity where the Stockholm
performance gives the impression of being a run- through and perhaps could
have done with a little more rehearsal.  Tempi are a touch faster in
Bournemouth too, there is more drama and conflict where that is needed.
In sound recording there is little in it, though.
