Melisande is one of her favourite roles, but I forgot to say that there
is also a recording with her singing in Mahler's 4TH symphony, with the
Swedish Radio Symphony orchesrta under Stig Westerberg.  it is a very
powerful and convincing recording, and Soederstroem sings with great
compassion throughout.  Just faboulous!

It was recorded fortunately, though you might not know it as commercial
recording yet, but it is now to be released.  (It is a rather fast tempo
recording, so it might get - one can specualte here - chansons d'Orphee
or some nice Stenhammar Romance as filler).  Don't know it? It is now to
be reissued.  You will see.  I will review it soon.
