Michael Tilson Thomas is pretty much his own man.  Comparisons with Leonard
Bernstein have been around for years, and IMO have been odious for the most
part.  Yes, there is a resemblance to the "pedagogical" Bernstein, but in
matters of discipline and taste on the podium, MTT stands head and
shoulders above the late conductor.
