I just happened to drop in on this thread.  What kind of Cretin would
disparage Sir John? Especially sans any evidence or logic? Every time
you listen to a different recording or performance of a piece of music
you experience a new, another facet of the gem.  All of them function
as a matrix in paradigm formation.  Sir John offers one of the most
