Iain Simons asked concerning Goldmark's Violin Concerto I heard on the
radio:

>...was it the recent release of Joshua Bell and The Los Angeles Phil under
>the direction of Esa-Pekka Salonen? If so, how was the performance?

It sounded fine to me, especially as I was driving myself mad trying to
identify something I knew pretty well. I hesitate to place Bell in the
same rank as Milstein, the version I know best, but I'd need to hear it
again knowing what I was listening to. That sentence makes sense to me:
I hope it does to you:-)
