Jocelyn Wang's delightful redefining of Western classical music reminds me
of a point towards the end of the last movement of Prokofiev's 7th where he
re-introduces a theme from the first movement and lets the orchestra really
go for it.  Inescapably, I see John Wayne (or Glenn Ford) cracking his whip
over a huge herd of cattle in the heat and dust.  I wonder if Prokofiev
liked Westerns?
