For the 11th consecutive year, Ann Arbor-based new music ensemble
Brave New Works will present an exciting festival of modern music
called "Are You Brave?" The Festival will run from October 5-7, 2007,
and will include performances at the Art Gallery of Windsor, Ontario,
and the Kerrytown Concert Hall Ann Arbor, MI.  Works to be performed
include "Short Stories" by Braxton Blake (world premiere), "Indigenous
Instruments" by Steve Mackey, "Slide Stride" by Marc-Anthony Turnage,
and "Compline" by Christopher Rouse.  The "Are You Brave?" Festival will
showcase the versatility and virtuosity that makes Brave New Works one
of the most exciting performing ensembles in the United States today.
