In my high school orchestra I once wound up playing a trombone part to
Haydn's #104 that I know was inauthentic.  Its staggering how many people
(performers, publishers, managers) think they "know better."

The harpsichord in #98 has always been a sore spot.  I don't believe (and
neither does HC Robbins Landon) that Haydn sat at the harpsichord in the
Salamon concerts and didn't play it throughout.  Those who include it only
for that brief solo are creating yet inaccurate edition.
