You could try various things such as Walton's Belshazzar's Feast
(especially the shout of 'SLAIN') or the Bartok String Quartet no. 4
finale.  Another thing you could try is the 1812 Overture and turn the
volume up when the cannons go off in the finale.  As an 18 year old, I
can sympathize with you.
