Thank you all for your many suggestions. I really appreciated them. I've
now listened to several of your recommended pieces. I liked most of them,
but in particular, both of Prokofiev's (although I like the 1st better than
the 2nd). But I didn't like Elgar's, which surprised me since so many
people recommended it. So I was wondering, maybe you could tell me what to
listen for or what I'm missing. What's so special about it? It seems kinda
directionless.

Also, there are a couple I would like to listen to, but either there are no
recordings available at our music library, or there are too many recordings
available. Could you recommend a particular performer or CD for the
following pieces? Thanks!

Bach a minor, E major, d minor (for two violins)
Bartok (especially his 2nd, which I've been told is really nice)
Khatchaturian d minor
Wieniawski f# minor, d minor
