I liked Kempf's Schumann recording very much. From the reviews in
Gramophone, Classical Music on the Web, and the complimentary words of
Andrys, it sounds like his Rachmaninoff disc is even better than the
Schumann.

This does make me wonder how much longer Kempf will stay on with BIS,
assuming that major record companies try to get his services. Of course,
I thought the same a few years ago about Hamelin who records for Hyperion,
but he evidently is very pleased with his relationship with the British
company.
