In the long gone TV sitcom *The Facts of Life* the bright, but somewhat
spoiled, rich kid plagiarizes some poetry by Emily Dickinson and submits
it as her own in a state contest.  She wins second prize, which cracked
my then teen-age daughter up at the time.
