I know the answer to this one - 26 February 2007.  The item was the
Shostakovich Violin
Concerto No. 1 and the Janacek Violin Concerto (fragment).

Although fairly recent, I can't remember any before February.  As far
as I'm concerned, Sony Classical took a nosedive when it fired many
wonderful artists and dumped its Vivarte series that specialized in
period instrument performances.  Fortunately, other labels have come
to the forefront such as PentaTone.
