A friend of mine gave me the Fritz Werner box of Bach Cantatas Vol 1
for Christmas.  It's ten Cds for $55 and has thirty-one Cantatas.  I am
overwhelmed with the beauty of it.  For non HIP recordings these seem
about the best as the choir is great and the soloists as well.  Werner
was a Bach specialist and even though it's not on original instruments
it sounds authentic to me.  I highly recommend it to anyone interested
in Bach.  I have a great friend.
