I see them, I don't care for them, and I say so.  It probably helped that
some list members have mentioned liking the Naxos covers; that put the
theme back in my mind.

I don't buy Naxos to save money; I buy it for the repertoire.  No, the
artwork is not a big deal.  But, providing attractive covers is not a big
deal either.

I wouldn't prefer it, but I could easily go with it.  My purchases of Naxos
would not decrease any; I only get about 10 Naxos cds a year.  Where does
the $2 estimate come from? Sounds mighty inflated.

I don't know how far anybody on the list wants to go with the cover
business.  As Wes indicated, covers provide no clues as to the quality
inside.  It's just that I think it is very inexpensive to provide covers
that I would find pleasing.  Most of you would likely hate them, so let's
forget the whole thing.
