Kelnau was not the only one to set "Die Weise von Liebe und Tod Des
Cornets Christophe Rilke".  Frank Martin composed a setting for contralto
and orchestra as well.  Contralto Christianne Stotijn, with the Orchester
Musikkollegium Winterthur conducted by Jac van Steen, recorded it on the
German MDG (Musikproduktion Dabringhaus und Grimm) label.  It's equally
dramatic, I would say.
