Edo De Waart has agreed to become the Music Director of the Milwaukee
Symphony Orchestra beginning in the 1909-1910 season, succeeding Andreas
Delfs, who has held this post for the past decade.  De Waart came to
Milwaukee a month ago for a secret rehearsal with the orchestra and both
he and the orchestra were happy with how it went.  Full story in today's
