I have the RCA box of the Guarneri's original recordings of the Beethoven
quartets; they are nobody's favorites nowadays I guess, but I imprinted
on some of the vinyl.  There are no recording dates in the 8-CD set.
Now I see Brilliant Classics has brought out a set recorded in 1987-92.
What label was this second cycle originally recorded for, and does anybody
have any opinions of them?
