Yes, IMO the Brits have odd tastes when it comes to Continental goings-on,
and there has always been an element among Americans that takes its cue
from what the Brits have to say.  I have heard both Kertesz recordings
of the New World and IMO they are fine.  It's just that with all the
recordings I have already of the work, "fine" is just not good enough
to add yet another to the heap.
