Boxing Day is a holiday celebrated in Britain, Australia, New Zealand,
and Canada. Boxing Day falls on December 26th, which is also St.
Stephen's Day. or the Feast of St. Stephen, the first Christian martyr.
The traditional celebration of Boxing Day includes giving money and other
gifts to charitable, needy people, and people in service jobs. The name
refers to the special boxes that were placed in churches at Christmas time
hundreds of years ago to collect money to buy food for the poor. The
church opened these boxes on Christmas Day and handed out their contents on
the following day--December 26. My question is: is there music associated
with this day, besides Good King Wenceslas looked out, On the Feast of
Stephen...?
