>From today's Times:

SIR DAVID FROST and Franco Zeffirelli are going into business. The
duo are to launch a satellite channel broadcasting opera across Europe
six hours a night, seven days a week. Naturally enough, Sir David
became involved in the venture after he interviewed the Italian film
   director for a television show.

Also, in the same edition, a thought from Colin Davis:

Music is one of the great inventions of the human mind," says Sir Colin
Davis, the LSO's principal conductor.

"It's not for nothing that children are supposed to do better after
listening to Mozart. Cows do better, I certainly do better."

Don't we all?
