I was like you when I was in high school, over 30 years ago.  Felt a bit
awkward, too, because my tastes leaned toward Mozart and Beethoven rather
than what my fellow teens liked to listen to.  Nothing wrong with standing
out in a crowd.  Just listen to and play whatever music you love.  That's
what's important.
