Thea Musgrave has a substantial corpus to her name (some have even made it
to disk in England and the USA) and Mrs Beach's Cabildo would be well worth
reviving.  Judith Weir is as theatrical and original an opera composer as
anybody else around.  I think the gap is certainly closing.
