Here my five top bargain CDs (difficult to choose cause I seldom buy
high price CDs):

1. Verdi: Otello by Serafin (RCA Living Stereo)

2. Mahler: Lied von der Erde with Wunderlich (EMI Great Recordings)

3. Schubert: Goethe-Lieder with Fischer-Dieskau (DG Originals)

4. Beethoven: Symphonies by Zinman (Arte Nova)

5. Schubert: Winterreise with Prey and Sawallisch (Eloquence)

Ah, there are so many more. It is fun to save money.
