I attended the same performance as Bernard Chasen.  It was a peak
experience.  Levine led the BSO ion the Mahler 3rd in 2001, but now the
BSO is Levine'a orchestra and is playing much better.

For me, Levine is the best conductor since Szell.  After the 30 years
in the desert with Ozawa, these years with Levine are glorious indeed.
Let us enjoy the best conductor in the world while we have him.
